Sen-Ye Shen born in 1967 in Shanghai, China and she was
always passionate about painting, especially being in the company of her
father (Ji Ren Shen) who specialises in watercolour. This led her to
attend drawing classes during her schooling and carried this through to
university.
Sen-Ye migrated to Australia in 1989 and settled to family life and is
married with three children.
In recent years, she was able to set aside time to realise her artistic
ability with exhibited works in surrounding galleries. Of late, there have
been paintings idealising the spiritual dimension and the talent to
communicate the inner thoughts of her works.
Sen-Ye is passionate about art and sees herself fulfilling a life long
ambition.

Art is about love. Through my work I can
share my memories and emotions; show you some of the things I have seen
and some of the things I love. Perhaps you will see them and love them
too. Perhaps you will find in them your own dreams and memories. I hope
so...
