After studying at Monash University and The
Victorian Artists' Society, June Jacono spent time under the tutelage of
Barbara McManus, Helene Seymour and Carol Boothamn.
Deciding to specialise in Oils and Pastels,
she has honed her skills and developed her own special style. She
specialises in Floral Art and draws inspiration from both the Australian
landscape and her overseas experiences. She has visited many of the famous
galleries in both Europe and America, her main interest being the
Impressionists.
Her paintings hang in a number of private
collections interstate and overseas in the UK and USA. Apart from several
commissions, she has exhibited widely in various venues as well as solo
exhibitions in many Victorian galleries and venues.
